1. Flat Iron
Flat Iron is if not my favourite steak places.. ever. It can be quite busy but once you’re inside you’re in for a treat. Their signature flat iron steak is only £12? I have no idea how they have made it possible but its definitely more than worth it. Perfect if you’re looking for an affordable steak for all.
Every single branch I’ve been to, the staff are very friendly and the quality of the food is consistently amazing. Beef dripped popcorn and if you’re lucky enough, their convent garden branch offers you free ice cream for dessert.

Locations – Shoreditch, Covent Garden, Soho, Kings Cross, London Bridge and Spitalfields
2. Hawksmoor
Hawksmoor is one of the most elite steakhouses in London. If you’re looking for a steakhouse for a nice fancy dinner or a Sunday afternoon brunch Hawksmoor is the place to be. Their staff are incredibly friendly and professional and the food is absolutely to die for. I’d recommend the Sunday roast, potted pork, scallops or the cornflake milkshake but I can’t seem to see this on the menu anymore.
What’s also great about Hawksmoor is that they support charities by donating 50p of specific set items on their menu to numerous causes.

3. Miller and Carter
If you have not heard of Miller and Carter where have you been? Miller and Carter is a well-renowned Steakhouse chain in the UK and you’re bound to find one nearby. They have been awarded “Masters Of Steak” from the Craft Guild of Chefs and for good reason.
They’re quite a big chain so are aways having offers and special deals so you can get great offers if you check out their site. My partner took me here for my birthday and we ordered the T-bone steak to share (pictured) and we couldn’t walk afterwards. Just Amazing.

4. Blacklock
Blacklock is definitely one of the trendier steak places I have been to. I love their casual and yet classy decor, with specials written on chalkboards and in some locations a view of their kitchen.
Blacklock’s steaks are mindful and affordable. We opted for a few of the big chops to share and they were juicy and favlourful.
The brand has amazing concepts. I.e. Cocktails for a fiver and cocktails that give back and Butcher price Mondays and their all in which is £20 for 2 people. It’s just incredible the thought and care that went into curating all the details.

6. Gaucho
Gaucho by dictionary definition is a skilled horsemen/cowboy from South America. Gaucho first opened in the UK in 1994 and is based on modern Argentinan steak. This represents the restaurant’s theme perfectly. On arrival, you’re taken aback by the modern twist on the southwest. The staff are extremely nice and helpful and if you’re spoilt for choice then they do have a number of set menus you can choose from.
